Home Modification

Do you need skilled advice about how to make your home more accessible?  We have answers and people to help you!

Therapy In Your Home’s Out Patient Therapy is provided IN YOUR HOME.  We can provide an evaluation and recommendations based on individual needs. This evaluation may be billed to your Insurance or Medicare Part B.  Insurance will reimburse for a limited number of skilled visits in your home to make recommendations to stay safe and functional, prevents falls, and prepare you for future impairments related to your diagnosis.   You might need a few visits by which Insurance will pay for services, or you might want more in which you pay privately.  We can also provide advice by phone.  A simple phone or email conversation might answer your questions. Either way, we are here to help.  You have options.

In addition to what your Insurance or Medicare will reimburse, we can provide more extensive resources for you which are paid for privately. Your needs may include working with a contractor for home modifications, finding medical or adaptive equipment, or other needs to create the best home environment for daily living.  Here are some examples:

  • I can see the future with my diagnosis, and I need to remodel some areas of my house.
  • Mom is going to be living with me for the foreseeable future, and I would like her to be as safe as possible.
  • My son with autism needs more sensory sensitive areas in the home
  • I will be buying a house and would like to have some advice about how I could adapt it to fit my individual needs.
  • I have low vision which puts me at risk of falls, and I would like ideas for safety
  • My bad back is aggravated when I work at my desk, and I would like ideas for improving this problem.
  • My contractor has some questions about my suggestions, and I would like an advocate as I move forward with my home modifications.
  • I would like mobility ideas that will help me get around with less pain, more stability, using less energy, more speed.
